The women of Laqia make the carpets from the raw wool stage. The wool goes into large paint tanks where it is cooked with natural pigments for coloring. After the wool is dry, it is weaved with a seven-meter loom.
The reputation of the carpets that come from "Lakiya Weaving the Negev" has accumulated over the years and they have won prizes for their quality. Alongside the traditional weaving, in dark brown-red-green and blue colors, appears the new collection which looks a bit different. The new collection is updated and elegant, with new patterns and color combinations; nevertheless, it is still connected to its Lakiqa roots.
All Carpets are made from 100% wool and are handmade.
